The Rise of Women in Technology

Women are still a minority in the world of technology. Even after so many years, why don’t more women get involved in technology as a career path or even start technology businesses? Encouragingly, the trends are changing.

With the advent of social media, we have seen an increased percentage of women getting more hands on with using technology.  I do still have friends who don’t really understand how to text, yes in this day and age. Slowly but surely, women are beginning to embrace new technologies and using them to enhance and shape their lives.

We would like this network to showcase, encourage and empower women to get more involved in technology in their daily lives, their businesses and see it as an enabler for what they want to achieve.
